The Eclectic Elm has teamed up with Ultraterior Painting to bring you our very own line of chalk paint and furniture wax.  Not all projects are for the professionals.  The best thing about chalk paint is that it requires minimal prep work.  You can paint right over most clean, dry surfaces though, we ALWAYS recommend using at least one coat of primer prior to starting any project.  Chalk paint has a matte sheen which provides optimal coverage for blemished surfaces and dries down to a velvety smooth finish.  Our chalk paint is eco-friendly, low VOC, and water based which makes for easy clean up.  We offer a small variety of beautiful hand selected colors.  Don’t forget to seal and protect your chalk painted project with our all-natural furniture wax!

Instructions for use of paint:  Store in a cool dry place no cooler than 50° F

For best results, apply paint using a nylon or polyester brush or a high-quality foam roller.

Allow 2 hour dry time / 4 hour recoat time.

Instructions for use of wax: Using a wax brush or a lint-free clean cotton cloth lightly apply wax to furniture.  Avoid using too much wax as a little goes a long way.  If you have applied too much wax, you can simply wipe the excess away using a fresh clean cloth.  If using more than one coat, be sure to buff the wax before the next application.  Wax should dry down to a soft smooth finish.  Avoid using furniture for up to 6 hours after applying wax.

These framed suncatchers were handmade using a collection of stained glass from the First Presbyterian Church of Youngwood which opened its doors in 1910. Each suncatcher is uniquely designed and uses a variety of hand-selected glass to create an original look.
